c.1930 SFA France Tin Litho Motorcyclist with Sidecar

Embossed, pre-war tin litho "Motorcyclist with Sidecar" produced in France by SFA. Unusual non-mechanical toy features a salmon colored bike and sidecar. Engine details were done in black and white. Except for the arms, the driver's upper torso and head are completely integrated into the motorcycle. He wears a navy blue uniform plus gloves, helmet and goggles. Toy is marked with the SFA logo on both sides of the gas tank and on the top of the sidecar's leg compartment. It was not produced with a passenger.

Push-type toy rides on three balloon style white treaded tires with red rims and wire wheel spokes. Additional details include matching license plates (on the cycle and sidecar), rear fender rack, pleated sidecar seat, and metallic red flooring.
